Meet Charlie Crosby
Charlie Crosby founded Crosby Trucking with a simple goal: provide dependable hauling and site work backed by honest service and years of hands-on experience. Having learned the trade from his grandfather at a young age, Charlie has spent more than a decade helping homeowners, builders, and contractors throughout the Charleston area prepare properties for what's next.
His story begins in the years after Hurricane Hugo, when his grandfather started a business helping rebuild and prepare properties throughout the Lowcountry. By the age of 12, Charlie was already learning to operate equipment — spending countless hours in the field and developing an appreciation for the hard work, precision, and responsibility the industry demands.
As an owner-operator, he's personally involved in every project, bringing local knowledge, practical expertise, and a commitment to doing the job right. Proudly based in Meggett and serving the greater Charleston area, Charlie remains dedicated to the community where he grew up and the work he's been passionate about his entire life.

Charlie has been operating heavy equipment since 1992, learning the trade from his grandfather in the years following Hurricane Hugo. He leads every project from the field — not behind a desk.
Billy Donaldson
CDL Driver
A professional truck driver since 1975 and former owner-operator who drove nationwide, Mr. Billy came out of retirement to join the Crosby Trucking crew. With more than fifty years of experience behind the wheel it was an easy decision to add him to the team.
Terry Rentz
CDL Driver
Terry's trucking and land clearing experience dates back to 1990 when he first learned the trade from his dad. He took a break for a long while working in manufacturing but decided to come back to his roots in 2025 and join the Crosby Trucking team.

Bookkeeper
Mitzi has been with Crosby Trucking from the very start working hard to keep the wheels (and tracks) running smoothly on all those trucks and equipment behind the scenes.
